Goodbye Frosh Chem!
May. 8th, 2006 09:17 pmThis morning was the Chemistry 22 final, which will hopefully be the final chemistry experience that I have to undergo. The multiple-choice part of the test was quite nasty, and I don't think I did particularly well on it; this was a rather unpleasant shift from last semester's Frosh Chem exam, whose multiple-choice portion was impressively easy. However, I think I did okay on the free-response Mudd part of the test; not great, but still good enough to get the overall ~25% on the final that I'll need to pass the class. So it looks like I have a fairly good chance of being done with chem forever!
Then at Noisy Minutes, we had a nice, big fire and burned our chem stuff. I donated my chem quizzes and tests to the East Dorm test bank and consigned the rest of my chem handouts, syllabi, homework, lab manual, and other miscellany (I'm keeping my notebook, it can be reused for other, less sad-making courses) to the flames. It felt really, really, really good.
